The State of Arizona Research Library is a branch of the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, which is a division of the Arizona Secretary of State's office. Our library's mission is to collect, preserve, and provide access to information for all Arizonans about their government, their state, and their world in a variety of formats.
We have been a designated federal depository library since the early 1900s, and that means we receive free government publications from the United States Government Publishing Office (GPO). We are also the official repository for published documents from Arizona state agencies.
The purpose of this guide is to assist patrons in using online resources to locate a variety of government documents.
