Committee hearing

The committee chair has discretion whether to put the bill on an agenda for a committee hearing. The committee may take testimony, discuss, or amend the bill. If the committee votes to advance the bill, they vote do pass ("DP") or do pass amended ("DPA")

The name of the committee may be abbreviated. Find a list of the committees in a dropdown on the online bill tracker or browse the Journals.
